Are your daffodils up yet?

I'm a bit concerned that my daffodils are up yet and wondering it something at them, or is Spring late this year?

Are your daffodils up yet?
# your garden is about to become heaven just alittle while more
Reply:ilive on the outskirts of glasgow and my daffs have heads on them but will take a little while to open
Reply:You did not say where you are living??? But I think most places had a late winter so the bulbs will have slept longer too.
Reply:here in S.Wales the daffodils have just started flowering obviously it will vary depending on where you live, I would think the farther north the later the blooms
Reply:My mum planted loads for us and they are just starting to pop up. The snowdrops are up already and very pretty. I think it depends on where you live and what your climate has been like. It might be early yet, so hopefully you'll still get your daffodils. Good luck.
Reply:Yes

I noticed them today.

I got all happy and started tidying the garden.

I LOVE SPRING

Have a lovely one

Reply:I live in Ontario. They started popping there way up....About 2 inches, then we got hit with lots of snow.
Reply:no,but nor have my snowdrops all flowered yet either
Reply:Im down in southern Texas and mine are just showing up..Everything is starting to bud...Spring is a little early.
Reply:Unfortunately, there are going to be a lot of bulb flowers that don't appear this year because of the crazy weather we've had in North America. Ontario is one place where it was so warm at the beginning of January the bulbs prematurely started to pop up. Then we were hit with the lovely icy cold weather we've been having since. The same thing happened last year. It's a shame to lose the flowers.
Reply:Yikes, I haven't even started thinking of flowers yet! We have about 2 feet of snow on the ground yet and it is only February!!
Reply:Yes , In Fact They are all in Bud ....East Midlands
Reply:theres a roundabout in bracknell in berkshire uk , well there are many roundabouts 63 in all,one of them have had daffs out for last 3 weeks.
Reply:nope not yet u have to wait until the sun can warm the garden up....
Reply:They are all up in Kent and have been for a two weeks
Reply:All throughout the local parks, daffodils are almost fully up - no petals but the rest is there!
Reply:Have been for more than a month. I live in Cornwall and it's quite normal.
Reply:Yes, they have blooming for the better part of two weeks here in Middle Tennssee, Zone 7
Reply:Hi, in SC. the daffodils are blooming. I have picked them and put them in vases already. We had a really warm streak earlier this winter, and now they are up, even though it is cold now. We have freaky weather here, never know what to expect. But, yes, the daffodils are blooming.
Reply:we live in shropshire and our daffs are full bloom.
Reply:in south yorkshire. my daffy's are in bud, but i'm still enjoying my many snowdrops. spring is fab.
Reply:Don't worry yet, it could be where you are living that they just haven't become obvious yet. Look closely at the ground and maybe move some of the covering, you may find they are popping out about now.
Reply:Mine have foliage but no flowers yet. But my narcissus is blooming! I thought spring was early this year.
Reply:I live in north east England my daff's are six inches tall and I have crocus beginning to flower, hope this helps.
Reply:Yes, we've loads growing. Loads of tete a tete daffodils flowering now (the small ones) and lots of others not far off. But if you're up in the north, maybe yours will be a bit later.
Reply:there are no daffodills out, where i lived i have quite a few neighbours with dafodills every year and theirs arent out yet. (im in the south). Don't worry, they will pop out when you least expect it. HTH
Reply:We live in the midwest and I think we are going to have a late spring, just had an icestorm this weekend and more snow coming through the middle of the week and I see no sign of any Daffodils coming up.
Reply:I am in yorkshire and the daffs are up.
Reply:yours have obviously gone back into hibernation, We are in Devon and I have half and half. Inflower in the front where they get the sun and just leaves in the back where it is more shady, Yoe will get to enjoy yours after ours are all finished
