Why won't my daffodils flower?
You also may be over-fertilizing or under-fertilizing them.

Also, are you allowing the leaves to die out and turn brown, or are you cutting them away after the flower dies? If you don't allow the leaves to die back on their own and continue watering the green plant after the daffodil is spent, then the bulb can't store enough nutrients to flower the next year. Try watering it until the leaves are brown and dry. Then trim away the dead leaves to a couple inches above the soil.
Reply:Two possible reason are overwatering or insufficient light.

Try moving the Daffs to a sunnier spot and monitor your watering schedule. Good luck!
Reply:Probably too much shade.

Could be that you bought them on sale and they are weak.

I would plant them in the ground, and feed then with a high phosphate fert before the leaves die down. They should bloom next year.
Reply:They're overcrowded and need to be dug up in the fall and replanted. Do this and next year you'll have more blooms.
