How to grow daffodils?

I want to grow them in Brasil

How to grow daffodils?
Daffodils are really evolved for temperate regions of the world that have cool winters and mild springs- I am not sure how they would perform in the tropics; it might be way too hot and humid for them! I'm not sure when they would flower either: probably the start of the wet season. The bulbs might also rot in tropical humidity....However, if you live half way up a mountain where it's cooler then they should be fine.

The only way to know is to try it- just put some bulbs in the ground during your dry season and wait. The plants will work out the best time for them to grow, if they decide to grow at all. Also, it may be possible to buy varieties of daffodil (Narcissus) which are adapted to warmer climates, although I don't know of any. Good luck!!
Reply:buy some bulbs and plant hem easy as pie
Reply:In Brazil you shouldnt have a problem with autumn/winter, simply plant the bulbs between 2 and 6 inches under the surface.

When the flower and leaves have died off, remove the bulbs or keep in well drained soil until growing conditions are right.

Daffodils are about the simplest plant to grow!
