Grass, Iris, Palm, daffodil.
Which is the odd one out---and why?
Daffodil because the veins on the leaves does not run parallel. In grass,palms and iris the veins in the leaves run parallel. Grass,palms and iris therefore belong to the plant family monocotyledons and the daffodil belong to dicotyledons.
Reply:daffodil. The other 3 are capitalized.
Reply:I would say the palm, it is a tree. The rest are plants.
Reply:Grass. Grass is a ground cover.
Reply:Grass, the other's are flowers/trees. The others all have a type of stem.
