I need to move some daffodils. However, the new location not be ready for 4-8 weeks. How should I handle?

Dig them up and keep as much dirt around them as possible. Put them in a box and cover them with peat moss or potting mix to the depth that they were planted and keep them moist, keeping them in the sun until they die back. This should work for you.

You can dig up the daffodils when they are done blooming %26amp; put them in your new location when it is ready.
Reply:It's best to move them when they're dormant anyway! So you're in luck. You want to wait until the leaves die back, because the leaves are what the bulbs use to gather energy for next year's flowers. To dig them up BEFORE the leaves fade is to reduce their ability to produce flowers next year.

The tricky part is FINDING them when the leaves aren't showing. Since you can most likely still see the leaves right now - mark the spots where they are.

Then in 1-2 months, go dig them up, and re-plant them. Easy.
