aww i saw some lovely little miniture daffodils growing in someones garden,where can i get them and when do you plant?thanks

You plant them in the fall, you may be able to find them at a garden center or nursery in your area (probably have better luck with a nursery than a garden center at Lowes or Home Depot, for example) or you might have to order them from a garden catalog. There are a lot of different varieties. Try googling mini daffodils on the net, you should find a lot of catalogs. Brecks is one, John Scheeper Bulbs is another, Van Bourgendien also. You may have to wait until the middle of the summer when the fall catalogs come out to find them.



You also might find some this time of the year potted, check with Walmart and the above mentioned stores. Sometimes they have them for Easter, already potted and blooming. You could plant them in your garden and they will be established and bloom for you next spring also.
Reply:I live in Germany and over here you can buy them in any good florist or in the gardening department in the local DIY shop. Some Easter decorations have them, you can take them out of the plant pot and plant them in the garden, they come up every year.
