Daffodils - where are they this year? - look around -?

in years past i could pick bunch after bunch from garden - this year i have two daffodills - and no they do not want splitting up. I have had foxes dig some bulbs out of my large pots but they leave the bulbs on ground. Most noticeable around road roundabouts where they certainly abound in most places - NOT this year. where they have bloomed for the last 5-6 years there are none now - even the councils have not cut them down when finished flowering - they have left the leaves to die naturally -

Daffodils - where are they this year? - look around -?
We used to pick them for Mothering Sunday from a local farm - so it could be a little early yet in your neck of the woods.

I'm in Worcestershire and my tete-a-tete minis have just come into flower (we have a sandy soil which warms quickly)

the trumpets and narcissi still have a a couple or three weeks to go, I reckon - it is only mid-Feb..

The yellow crocus flowers are in bud, other colours just leaves at the moment. Snowdrops doing well.

Reply:They aren't due to bloom until March/April. I have seen some though at Hodsock Priory.
Reply:It's quite early for Daffodils and it has been very cold. I've got some minature daffys flowering in my garden at the moment.
Reply:Down to the weather this year if they are not there by APRIL they may have been to wet of winter and died ... Give them time ....
