Is is possible to move daffodills after they have a tiny bit of green foliage in the early spring?

Help!! I moved into a new (to me) house last fall and this spring I am seeing a whole lot of daffodils popping up in places I don't want them. Can I move them now? Here in the Willamette Valley it is cold, but not freezing and spring comes early. There is only about 2 leaves per bulb popping out and they are only about 3 inches high. Will I hurt the chance for beautiful blooms if I disturb the bulbs now?

Thanks!

yeah u can move them I'm always doing that , i did that last week in my garden i transferred some from the back garden to the front x
Reply:Just make sure that there is plenty of soil over them as bugs love newly planted fresh tips. Enjoy them as the buds are already formed inside.
Reply:I wouldn't move them now. I would mark them with something like a popsicle stick or golf tee and move them in the fall.
Reply:no i always plant bulbs in the green
Reply:yes, you can move them now , i mix and plant alot of bulbs that come from the growers already sprouting. place them in a good organic mix so later you can seperate them.
Reply:Daffodils are surprisingly tough. I had a dog dig up a bunch ..I replanted them and they were fine.
