Reasons to be Cheerful (Part 2)?

What a glorious day it's been! The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the daffodils have emerged from their winter hibernation. To top it all, I managed to get out this afternoon for a round of golf. Fresh air, exercise, good company and spectucular scenery (shame about the golf, though). No wonder I'm cheerful today. How about you? Anything good happen you'd like to share with all of us? Let's spread a little sunshine ourselves.

Reasons to be Cheerful (Part 2)?
Yes:I took a Stroll up Mount Scott,three Miles to the summit,30 min rest ,and Shared a sandwich with Lab Retriever and back down the Mtn. ,Back Pack and Dog.

I had done this once when I was 16 yrs of age,I turn 65 %26amp; just wanted to see if I could still climb that Mtn.I might add,I had two back Surg.in 99 Lum#5 first and Titanium 6 months later in 3-4 (2-3) I would Like to Ride a Tennesee Walker Horse

again,maybe a 25 Mile trip,Lord Wills it,I'll do it. I would like to Encourage anyone going thru a trial,It isn"t over until God says So.I can"t add to Your post,You have Painted a Picture

Reply:It's been spring here as well; crisp, sunny and cold. Tonight the clocks go back an hour which means we lose the dark wintry nights and can go for a walk after dinner. The down-side of that is that soon morning sunshine will flood the east-facing bedroom and wake us up earlier and earlier as spring goes into summer. Seeing as we are both owls, 5 a.m. wakening is NOT for us! So, I've gone into town today to order new curtains with black-out linings, and I'm going to get a matching bedspread and cushions made as well, so the bedroom will be transformed, and we can stay snuggled in bed till a respectable 7 a.m. Thank the Lord for spring and summer!
Reply:For me it is a glorious day when I wake up and know that I am alive. No matter what the weather is liek at least I can feel it. There is so much sadness and hurt in this world that we have to get satisfaction and glory through the little things in life. I hope that every one takes this to heart. No one is promised any tomorrows and we should live and help others like this is the last day here.
Reply:Usually Im a total happy go lucky optimist, but i have pages and pages of work to do and no way of finishing by the deadline, so today of all days i want to sit down and cry!! :( can i have your shoulder to cry on please!!
