can someone help me analyze this verse? I wandered lonely as a cloud
that floats on high o'er vales ad hills,
when all at once I saw a crowd,
a host, of golden daffodils;
beside the lake, beneath the trees;
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
( how can you tell what is stressed and what isn't?)
Stressed and unstressed?
Speak the lines out loud. Anything that stands out as stronger or louder is a stressed syllable.
The verse you're describing begins as iambic, but then the form gets looser near the end, which is appropriate given the subject.
Reply:well he is stressed cuz he is letting his mind wonder. he was lonely and that is sometimes depressing. then he sees people and he isnt lonely anymore. he is happy because he sees something beautiful.hope it helped!
