2.) 1600,800,400,200.....what is the seventh term in the geometric sequence above?

3.)What is the average (arithmetic mean) of six tenths and seven thousandths?

4.)A field contains 4,500 flowers tha are either roses, daises, or daffodils, what percent of the flowers are roses?

5.)A certain theater has 4 sections, with 20 rows in each section, and x seats in each row. If there are a total of 800 seats in the theater. what is the value of x?

7.) If the shortest distance from the center of a cube to the baseof the cube is 3, what is the volume of the cube?

8.)If n= 3m+2/2 and the value of m is decreased by 4 then the value of n is decrease by how much?

9.)If jonas has already run 4 miles in a 20 mile race what fraction of the race has he alredy run?

S.a.t. help please??
1) 60/100 = 3/5

(1/3)(3/5) = 1/5

2) Each number is being divided by 2

fifth term is 200/2 = 100

sixth term is 100/2 = 50

seventh term is 50/2 = 25

3) Add the numbers together and then divide by 2.

4) Seems like there is some information missing.

I'll assume that there are an equal number of roses, daisies and daffodils.

1/3 = 33.333% would be roses

5) 4*20*x = 800

Solve for x

6) A square has perimeter 16, that means each side is 16/4 = 4 centimeters.

1 centimeter = 6 km, so

4 centimeters = 4*6 = 24 km

The area of a square is s^2, where s is the side length

Area = 24^2 = 576 km^2

7) The length of the cube must be 3*2 = 6

The volume of a cube is s^3, where s is the length of the side

V = 6^3 = 216

8) n = 3(m-4) + 2 / 2

n = 3m - 12 + 1

n = 3m - 11

The original n was n = 3m + 2/2 = 3m + 1

3m + 1 - (3m - 11) = 12

n decreased by 12.

9) 4/20 = 1/5
Reply:That is a lot of questions to put in one post ... here are some of the answers:

1) 1/5

2) 25

3) .3035

4) not enough info

5) 100

6) 576 km^2

7) 216

8) 12

9) 1/5
