also, i am in ontario canada....the southern part.....and i would like to know if i can take the 2 daffodil hanging baskets i have and plant them in my garden.....the garden gets lots of sunlight, is that okay for daffodils? thank you very much....just starting out getting into gardening so thank you for taking the time to help me!!!
Are daffodils annuals or perennials?
Yes daffodils area perennial and yes you can plant them in your garden in a sunny location. Do not cut off the leaves until they have turned completely brown and you can easily pull them up. The leaves feed the bulbs for next spring so that you will have beautiful flowers next year.
Reply:Daffodils are perennials. They need partial shade some of the day.
Reply:Perennials and yes you can transplant them in your garden, good luck.
Reply:they are perennials
You can probably put them in the ground and they'll come back up, make sure you do it in the early fall, before the 1st freeze.
Good Luck
P.S. Begonias are great summer flowers that are VERY hard to kill !!
