Little daffodils? What are they called?

I have noticed over the last couple of weeks that as the daffs are fading some small ones are starting to bloom.

I have never seen thse before and am curious about what they are called.

They are NOT the little individual ones but about 4-6 mini flowers sprouting from a single stem.

They seem to grow from the same plant with the normal daffs but bloom slightly later.

If any clever gardener can give me some info. on these I will be very grateful as they are lovely and I would like to but some for my garden for next year.

Reply:You could be seeing primroses, these sometimes grow wild in the country as well as cultivated ones. There are also miniature daffodils, often used in flower basket arrangements.

Primulas are like primroses but you get a variety of colours not just yellow.Blues,pinks,red.As some others have said,Narcissus but these are also single stem. I think the most likely is primrose or primula. All these types are spring flowering.Hope this answers your question.
