Unusual cat behaviors, anyone else have these problems?

My cat (3 yrs. old) Komomo-chan does weird stuff. She sleeps on my dad's motorcycle (nowhere else), she smells like mothballs and cough syrup (we have no mothballs around), and can get violent when I rub her tummy. When I rub her she twists around and grabs my arm in her paws, then bites me. On several occasions she has drawn blood. She has an affinity for our persian rugs and lays there constantly. She also walks up to our 5 yr. old cat Daffodil and smacks her for no apparent reason. She prefers to eat her food on the trashcan. She eats dog food and has tried to shred the dog food bag to get in. When she is happy she sits in the bathtub and also tries to 'type' on my keyboard. Does anyone else's cat do stuff like this?

she grabs your arm because she wants to play, and about the blood perhaps she is a bit vicious. I`m not surprised she eats dog food, my cat does too, she also eats fruits and vegetables, I think it`s silly to think that they like only mice and milk like tom %26amp; jerry. Oh, and cats fight all the time, they don`t need reason, and i think she sits in the bathtub because usually in the bathroom the temperature is lower and sometimes cats feel hot, but after all cats are just animals so go figure them out, they don`t really put so much reason in what they do.
Reply:i used to have a cat like this but she past away in nov. i think you shoudl maybe take her to the vet ours had a kidney problem good luck truly me gymnastics lv
Reply:Cats always have a favored sleeping place. This is not unusual. They feel safe and comfortable. They also like the smell of your father that clings to the motorcycle.

Many cats do not like their stomach rubbed and will react to let you know of their displeasure.

Do not let the cat eat dog food. NO EATING DOG FOOD. it is absolutely bad for the cat. It also does not co

ntain some minerals that a cat must have for good health. Eating dog food will have serious consequences of time.

Eating food up high assures here that no other animal will sneak up and steal it.

Sitting in the bath tub. Well, whatever pulls the chain. Mine sits and stares at me for hours on end. I can't fugure out why, Watching for more wrinkles???

Cats will be cats - Never presume that there is a "Why" to what they do.

She is dominating Daffy. Asserting her position
Reply:Cats often sleep in the same area all the time- it's like a comfort behavior.

Many cats don't like being touched on their stomachs so that's normal.

As for the dog food, cats will often eat dog food if it's around but it's not good for them. Dogs and cats have different nutritional needs and dog food does not have enough of what the cats need to grow and mature properly so only feed her cat food.
Reply:Cats are very independent nothing unusal w/ it,its just different
Reply:Yeah...they're call PSYCHO CATS...and I have one....I asked the vet and she said "it's normal" as cats have individual personalities and there's nothing you can do about it. Like with dogs, they can be trained and are man's best friend. Cats on the other hand, you have to suck up to them! Just love it and pretty much do what she wants....
Reply:cats often tend to sleep in one spot and she is just trying to be friends with daffodil. Sometimes cats get a bit over exited when you rub their tummy and starts to bite but means no harm.

hope you understand a bit better now
