Make-up to wear with a bright yellow top?

What kind of eye make up would you wear with a bright/bold yellow top--kind of the color of a daffodil?



I like shimmery shades...too much dark eye make up looks bad on me. Suggestions?

Something neutral and NOT yellow-based. With the yellow top, if you use yellow-ish shades, you will look really sallow and gross. Go with a light beige shimmery eyeshadow (not on the yellow side though) mascara, foundation, lipgloss. Keep it basic and classy, the top will be the focus!
Reply:Shimmery gold looks fabulous with yellow, especially for spring and summer. MAC has the best shadow colors. Because yellow draws so much attention, I suggest playing up one other feature of your face: bright pink or red lips, or shimmery gold shadow with lots of black mascara, or flushed pink, bronzed cheeks with soft pink lips.

Reply:Maybe a pale gold or a shimmery vanilla color. You don't have to match your makeup to your top, and I think that dark eye makeup wouldn't really look that great with the yellow.
Reply:keep it simple a shirt like that will keep attentions bt you want it on your face so make you r face look good byusing

the same foundation you use and you it litely then maybay a shimmery white that will make yr eyes pop with a white eyeliner (i know white is strange but it wil make people look in your eyes i love bright colored eyeliner)\

then a pink blush that goes whit your skin tone

and then a gold or pale lip gloss (only some can pull of gold lipstic or gloss)

Reply:Depending on your hair color and skin tone, a gold or a brown will most likely work. Sometimes a peach or a light, very light orange. A brown shimmering color is beautiful in my opinion. Hope I helped!
Reply:Dark eye makeup looks bad on no one. Its probably just you who thinks that........smoky eyes look hot on everyone.....but if your going for a more casual look just put eye pencil in the your eye and smudge it out a bit so it looks smoky......also go for a simple light pink, brown or clear lip gloss. You eyes will look very intense and will compliment your top and face too.



Also you can do smoky eyes with the basic black and then blend in some colours such as teal. Teal looks good with yellow.
