Is it ok to grow tomatoes in the bed that once had daffodils in?

If daffodils are poisonous does this mean I can't grow tomatoes in the bed where I have just dug the daffodils up? Or will they be ok?

Is it ok to grow tomatoes in the bed that once had daffodils in?
yes that should be fine i believe i have a vegetable patch up my garden that previously had daffs in
Reply:Why dig them out?

If they were left to die down naturally you will get more blooms next year.

As far as tomato's are concerned they will grow fine as long as they are fed every 3 or 4 day with high nitrogen, then when the first truss sets start using a tomato fertiliser
Reply:Yes but its not OK to grow then in the bed you last slept in lol.
Reply:Yes of course
Reply:Use agood fertilizer for tomatoes and a little compost.
Reply:Planting in a bed that once had daffodils (and the daffs' grew healthly free from desease) won't affect whatever produce you wish to grow in their place.
Reply:Add and dig in a bit of fertilizer and bob's you're mothers brother
Reply:yes it is OK nature takes care of that better than you can
Reply:yes but change the sheets on the bed first
Reply:yes it is ok to grow them but not in the bed, the best place for planting something for it to grow is a garden ya outside
