Why does my cat keep bringing me flower heads?

My cat keeps bringing me the heads of flowers - daffodils at the moment. Can anyone tell me why?

Why does my cat keep bringing me flower heads?
that is really cute

cats like to hunt for things an bring them to their owners

perhaps your cat is a little bit confused =]

its doing it out of love though!

Reply:the cat loves you
Reply:Flower heads???

my cat used to bring me dead mice and gecko's.... i think you should be grateful.
Reply:Cos she loves you. I've been getting alot of leaves.
Reply:As a sign of affection.
Reply:I don't know, but think its cute, much better than a dead mouse. If its the neighbors flowers, you may need to ask the veterinarian.
Reply:Well, with my knowlege of cats I can tell you this. Your cat is ruining somebody else's flowers!!!
Reply:maybe ur cat wants 2 show its affectionate towards u =]
Reply:My cat has brought odd things. A pair of boxers, a doorbell, half a drain cover....! I never know what I'm getting home to!
Reply:That's too cute. Cats normally bring mice, birds etc as a 'gift' for the person they see as the dominant 'cat.' Just enjoy it. Maybe you could bunch them and start a flower stall ?!
Reply:probably because the cat wants to give you food or something. i think the cats think humans are too stupid to catch their own food so they catch it and the kitty is giving you something to eat. :)
Reply:at least she doesn't bring u mouse heads and gerbal heads like my cat :\ dang i miss mr cinnamon gerbal :( he was my fav
Reply:MY CATS BRING ME CRISP BAGS OR CHOCOLATE WRAPPERS, ITS THEIR WAY OF SHOWING YOU THAT THEY ARE CLEVER AND BRING YOU PRESENTS, IT GETS A BIT MUCH WHEN THE CHOCOLATE WRAPPERS ARE FILTHY AND THEY PUT THEM ON MY BED.
Reply:its saying thank you and i love you for looking after me your lucky i used to get rats
Reply:Cats are den mammals. They are evolved to bring food back to their den. Your cat is bring you these things because she is trying to take care of you. That is so cute that it's flower heads. Mine always brings dead rodents...ew.
Reply:bcoz she love u
Reply:Its there way of giving you presents
Reply:I think that is so sweet, the cat obviously loves you.
Reply:She loves you.

Be greatful, my mothers cat used to bring her dead mice.
Reply:She is bringing you gifts!!:) Be grateful that it isn't dead mice, or birds. Seriously. She is showing you she loves you. Or he, whichever
Reply:aww how cute. i dont know why they do it tho. my dog used to bite the flowers off all the zineas around our deck thru the railings. it looked horrible because the entire deck was then lined in stalks!
Reply:It could be that she loves you, I think.
Reply:He's bringing you gifts, telling you he's "worth his/her keep". Be thankful it's not dead lizards or mice. Found a dead lizard on our bed one morning, %26amp; our cat is an indoor cat.
Reply:Thats funny! Not as funny as one of my friends cats who was obviously DUMB he used to bring back rubber gloves from outside into her house and they couldn't figure out where he kept getting them from!! He would bring back loads!! Atleast its not dead mice or half dead pigeons...
Reply:Cats like to bring presents to the ones they love. Some cats bring dead birds, other bring horded food, or flowers in your case. That's quite sweet actually. Awww!
Reply:aww thats so cute
Reply:my cat does to
Reply:It's his natural hunting instinct - since he can't catch mice or birds, he goes for flowers.
Reply:FLOWERS??!!? WTF my cat brings me dead squirrels and rats and mice... etc..etc... or eats it, and then pukes it up on my front porch. You should be happy.

She brings them to you because shes showing you she loves you and is protecting you and her territory :)
Reply:My cats used to bring me mice so flowers is a nice change. Maybe she also wants more greens?
Reply:He is giving you a present. That's cute. I got half a mouse one day. The rear end .
