Why do i have less daffodils than last year?

Used to have lots but they seem to be less each year....surely there should be more!!

Why do i have less daffodils than last year?
they are slowly going blind, this year after flowering, pou a strong liquid feed onto the leaves and into the soil.Leave for six weeks before removing foliage and keep the area damp in summer. They should be fine next year
Reply:Maybe they were stolen (cheers)
Reply:We have lots of plants but hardly any flowers and the flowers that were there all fell over. That is in our yard.

Next to our house we planted about 600 daffodils, they were on special and we wanted the area we live in to look nice , the daffs the first year they flowered looked fantastic then someone pulled out the plants and broke all the flowers. This year there were quite a few flowers but someone have swiped them all. Really making me angry.
Reply:the weather id say
Reply:Hey they looked too pretty in your garden, cheers.
Reply:Definitely agree, you need to divide your plants and they will flower much better. This is easy to do, just consult your local nurseryman for specific instructions. Best to do it in autumn, though, at which time you can also re-plant the divided bulbs. Good luck to you!
Reply:Is it possible critters are getting to them. Check to see if there are any signs of up digging . Good luck!
Reply:If you haven't divided the bulbs then they may be choking out one another. The oldest and weakest ones are probably dying off. The soil may need to be fortified with some new soil and if they haven't been insulated well by a good heavy mulching or layer of snow then that's killing them off, too.

These are some things you can consider.

Good Growing:/
