Are daffodils a good bulb to plant with hostas?

thinking about planting daffodil blubs in with the hostas, is that a good idea? its a litely shaded area where the hostas appear to be doing well.

Sure you could plant them with the Hostas, but the Daffodils are going to come up, bloom, and die before the Hostas have even grown to maturity for the summer.
Reply:SURE NO PROBLEMO
Reply:Sure. When the deer eat the hostas, they will leave the daffodils alone. But remember, both plants spread pretty rapidly, so you will have to dig them up and divide them every few years.
Reply:I don't know what part of the country you're in, but here in New England, the hostas don't even begin to show buds by the time the daffodils have bloomed and died...
Reply:Daffodils need full sun to do well. Hostas like morning sun, afternoon shade. I would not plant them together b/c of that. The one planted w/ the wrong light requirements would do poorly.
